You are buying a 4-ply bobble with rainbow yarn made from 100% organic cotton

Please note that the smaller the run length you choose, the shorter the color areas will be.

For sleeves, I always have to check whether it is possible to include all the color areas. If there are too many, I start at about 20% and continue from there.

From 2000m the bobbins are split up. (eg 4000m = 2x 2000m bobbins, 6000m = 3x2000m, 4500m = 2x2000m 1x500m) There are several reasons for this, otherwise the bobbins would be too messy, on the other hand a 4000m bobbin is very large and collapses at the end, forming wool vomit.

4-ply - NS 2.5 to 4.5
depending on the strength of the processing and pattern

The bobbin is made of 3 threads of 50% cotton and 50% polyacrylic + 1 thread of 100% organic cotton and is connected by the color transitions with small knots (Frankfurt knots) that are super secure and barely noticeable. Only 1 of the 4 ply threads changes at a time. The yarn is ply and not twisted.

Colors may vary depending on screen settings.

Please wash the finished items by hand or on a wool cycle. Do not tumble dry, bleach or iron.

  • What is a back and forth winding

Many people like to work from the inside, and with the forward/backward winding option you can decide which color to start with inside. If there is only one article picture, this is the forward winding. The second one shows the back winding, or often I haven't managed to show the back winding as well.

  • What is a cloth wrap?

When wrapping the cloth, you have to start from the inside. Here, each colour section becomes longer so that the "bars" in the cloth remain approximately the same thickness. With a normal wrap, all colour sections are the same length.
